Sukhna Lake is such a beautiful lake designed by Le Corbusier. It is a man-made lake situated at Shivalik hills, the foothills of the Himalayas. It looks very attractive at the time of sunset. Zakir Hussain Rose Garden
Location: sector 16 in Chandigarh

Zakir Hussain Rose Garden is a botanical garden spread around 30 acres. You can see 50,000 rose shrubs of over 1600 various species. It is Asia’s largest botanical garden. In the end of February month, a grand Rose Festival is organized at this place. Tourists throng the place to witness the alluring beauty of roses in the lap of nature.

Pinjore Garden is another charming place near Chandigarh. People also call it Yadavindra Gardens. Architecture of this garden is an incredible assortment of Mughal and Rajasthani style. This place was built during the reign of Aurangzeb, the famous Mughal Empror, by a Nawab Fidai Khan. With its amazing seven terraces and magnificent trees and other exotic plants, it is a wonderful place for family picnics or pre wedding shoots.
