How to reach:
By Air: When you land at San Jose International Airport in Costa Rica, which is connected to many places of the World take a bus to Puntarenas, which will take about two hours. Then, take the Okeanos Aggressor Cruise to Cocos Island. The trip will take about 36 hours to reach the Island, as it about 550 km off the mainland of Costa Rica.
By Train: Railroads in Costa Rica provide suburban commuter trains from San Jose to San Pedro, Latina and Pavas. There are also trains going to Heredia and commercial trains connecting San Jose and Caldera. From the trzain station, you can go take the Okeanos Aggressor Cruise by rental cars, shuttles, taxis or buses.
By Bus: Many buses from El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama and Nicaragua arrive at and leave from San Jose. There are many bus terminals in San Jose. From the bus terminal you arrive at, take a taxi, rental car or shuttle to the Aggressor Cruise.
Best time to visit: June through December.
