How to Reach:
By Air: The nearest airports are Venice, 150 km and Treviso which is 140 km away. These airports have several international flights offering connectivity across the globe. Airport shuttle services connect them to Cortina d’ Ampezzo. Helicopter landing facilities are also available 3km from the city center.
By Train: Cortina d’ Ampezzo is well connected via rail to the Italian railway through Calazo di Cadore, 30 km southward and to the north and east European railway network through Dobbiaco, 30 km northward from Cortina d’ Ampezzo. These two networks connect the town to most Italian cities and several cities of Europe such as Paris, Munich and Geneva etc.
By Road: Cortina d’ Ampezzo has well connected roads approachable from the north, south and the west by three highways. These three are interconnected with the main A4 highway which passes through the “Po valley” as it traverses from Trieste to Turin passing the cities of Venice, Verona and Milan on the way.
