How to reach:
By Air: The largest International Airport in Iceland is Keflavik International Airport, which is just 50 km Southwest of Reykjavik.
From the airport, The Airport Express operated by Grey Line Iceland and the Flybus provide their services to go to Reykjavik. You can also take taxis and rental cars to go to the volcano.
By Boat: The main port on the East coast of Iceland is Seydisfjordur. From the port, you can go by bus to Reykjavik, which will take about 8-9 hrs.
By Cruise: Many cruises are provided by the cruise operators- Fred Olson, P&O and Cunard. In their itineraries, they also stop at Reykjavik. From the port, you can take a taxi or a rental car to go to the volcano.
By Ferry: From Denmark and Faroe Islands, the Faroe Islands, Smyril Line provides passenger and car-ferry services weekly. In the car-ferry, you can bring your car or motorbike also.
