How to reach:
GR 20 is a long distance trail, which consists of two parts –
The Northern Part- begins at Calenzana and ends at Vizzavona.
The Southern Part- begins at Vizzavona and ends at Conca.
To go to Corsica:
By Air: Direct scheduled flights are available from UK to Corsica. They leave from London Gatwick to Ajaccio and Bastia. Air France also provides scheduled flights to Corsico.
Corsico has four airports and the closest to the starting point of the trek is in Ajaccio. You can also reach Calvi, Bastia or Figari, which are all linked to Ajaccio by bus or train.
By Ferry: You can go by ferry to Corsico from Nice, Marseille or Toulon, which will take about 6-10 hrs. You can see the time tables of the ferries through CMN and Corsico Ferries.
How to reach the starting and finishing point of the trail in Corsico:
By Train and Bus: Many local buses and trains are available, which will take you to the start or end point of the trail.
How to get back from Vizzavona and Calvi:
After you will finish up the North section of the trail, you will be in Calvi. From here, you can book a flight to go back home.
From the South section of the trail, you will end at Vizzavona at the SNCE train station. From here, you can take a bus or a train and then go by flight from Ajaccio or Bastia or Calvi.
