Har ki Pauri

Location - Center of Haridwar

Har Ki Pauri is the central place of Haridwar and a major attraction for all devotees and tourists. The Holy Ganga River flows from here and devotees take a holy bath in this water. There are famous Ghats present on Har Ki Pauri. The famous Ganga aarti is performed here every day, morning and evening. A large number of people attend this aarti and pray to god for peace and harmony. The famous Khumb mela, the largest gathering of Hindu priests and people is organized at Ganga Ghat.

Mansa Devi temple

Location – 4.4 km from Haridwar

Mansa Devi temple is well known throughout the country among pilgrims and is one of the most visited places. It is a siddhpeeth situated on Bilwa Parvat. This temple is dedicated to Devi Mansa who is a form of Shakti and is believed to fulfill the wishes of sincere devotees. It is situated on a hill and can be reached by trekking or Rope way service. Visit the place for its spiritual and holy ambience.

Chandi Devi Temple

Location- 6 km from Haridwar

Chandi Devi is also a very famous temple situated on the Neel Parvat. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandi devi. The initial statue of Goddess Chandi was installed in 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya and this temple was built in 1929. This temple has religious importance among pilgrims since it is also a shaktipeetha and is known to fulfill desires of devotees. There are two ways to reach the temple by trekking or the rope way.

Lakshman Jhula

Location – Rishikesh

Lakshman Jhula is a very famous bridge between the two sides of Ganga River situated at Muni ki Reti in Tehri Garhwal. Rishikesh has almost become synonymous with Lakshman Jhula which is major tourist attraction. There is a smaller same kind of bridge called Ram Jhula which is also very famous. It is said that Lord Lakshman crossed the Ganga River from the same place using a rope. No toll is ever charged for crossing the bridge. People visit here to see the engineering marvel and capture great memories in photos.
