How to Reach:
By Air: There are several treks in the Indian Himalayas. These are spread across several states like Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh etc. Many treks are in Himachal Pradesh and begin at Kullu or Manali.To travel to these places you must fly to India, the nearest International airports being Delhi and Chandigarh International Airport. From here you can take flights to Shimla, Bhuntar near Manali, Jammu, Leh as per your trek choice. From here taxis are available to go to the starting point of your trek.
By Train: There are two narrow gauge rail lines available at Pathankot - Joginder Nagar and Kalka – Shimla.
By Road: You can also drive from Delhi or Chandigarh to the starting point of your trek or hire taxis or go by bus.
Best time to visit: The summer treks last from April to June while the winter treks are from December to March.
