Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is very well known and most visited by tourists. The architecture of the place is beautiful and the ground and the artwork it contains are very much loved by the tourists. Built in 1916, there are 34 rooms in the mansion that are arranged around the central courtyard. Furnished with exquisite European style furniture, this 28-acre villa and estate built in Italian Renaissance-style has decorative arts originating from the 15th to 19th century. The sprawling gardens have Italian and French fountains, beautiful pools and sculptures. There is a breakwater at the base of the steps carved into the form of female figurines that looks alluring. The steps lead into the Biscayne Bay. The estate has been the host to several significant and historical events and is visited by several tourists throughout the year.
Deering Estate at Cutler

Spread across 440 acres, the Deering Estate has a pine rock land habitat with coastal tropical hardwood rock land hammocks. It has globally endangered forests, salt marshes, mangroves and a coastal dune island. Located at Cutler property, it has several historical buildings including the Richmond Cottage which served as a hotel. There is also an American Indian burial ground that is many years old.
Named after Charles Deering, who was an art collector and gathered several art works by great masters along with his brother James. He himself was also a painter and the site has an Artist Village featuring art and numerous artists programs making it a well known cultural center.
You can enjoy a stroll through the beautiful estate touring the houses, or simply enjoying the mesmerizing view.

Everglades National Park that helps to preserve the natural features of Florida is only a short distance from Miami.
