PLOUMANAC’H, BRITTANY (FRANCE)
Half-way along the northern coast of Brittany region of France, lies a village port Ploumanac’h which is a natural site of exceptional beauty in a natural harbour. The place is renowned for its unusual tincture of rocks and sand which is rarely found elsewhere. It lies 3km north-west of the town Perros-Guirec. The Pink Granite Coast or Cote de Granit Rose, so-called is famous for its rocks of granite, with striking masses of stone carved by the sea which offer a fanciful view to the tourists. It is a pick-up destination of several seaside resorts for the visitors enjoying the sparkling rose-hued rugged cliffs, found on the coastal area between Perros-Guirec and the port of Ploumach.

By Air: Take a flight to Lorient, France and then take Bus or cab drive to Ploumanac’h in 2 hours
By Car: The city is accessible by car by a single road which lies 3 km northwest of Perros-Guirec.
By Bus: The city is also accessible by bus network, the long-distance transport from Cotes d Armor to Lannion-Cote de Granit Rose.

Reserve Naturalle Des Sept Iles
Location: Perros-Guirec, France

The Sept Iles are a group of seven islands inhabited by the Puffin birds. The difficult living conditions have kept away humans with the birds being the authority here! You can take a boat tour from Port-Blanc or Perros-Guirec to get there and enjoy the amazing bird reserve and the island with calm sea. The trip to the Sept Iles is definitely a stunning experience with the bird sanctuary located near the tip of the peninsula. The place is not only home to the rare puffin birds but there is also an excellent exhibition of different kinds of birds such as fulmars, guillemots, manx shearwaters, kittiwakes etc. You can also watch the grey seals coming in and out of the sea.

This is first light-house of Ploumanac’h built in1860, which was later, destroyed and built again in 1945. The lighthouse is composed of pink-granite stone and has a unique balcony furnished with battlements. Built at the entrance of the channel that leads to the port of Ploumanac’h, this pyramidal tower is still in use but closed for the public. However, it offers a great place to walk and enjoy the shimmery giant pink coloured rocks apart from the view of the surrounding coast while visiting this site.
Oratoire de Saint-Guirec

The Oratory of Saint Guirec was built on a stela dating from the Gallic era. Located in the Cote d’Armor, in the bottom of the Saint-Guirec bay, a few meters from a beach of Ploumanac’h, you have to travel here by boat. This ancient monument is shaped like an oratory, inside which the statue of Saint Guirec is placed. Near the oratory is the 14th century chapel that stands on the beach. The oratory can be seen only when there is low tide, during high tide it is visible but is surrounded by water from all sides. It attracts numerous visitors for its unusual charm.

Trestraou beach is a big attraction for the visitors to Ploumanac’h, situated may be 1.4 kilometers from Perros-Guirec. There is no shortage of activities on the beach, Surfers and water sports fans will just love the location of this beautiful sandy beach. You can also find a casino, a centre for sailing, children’s club, some great restaurants with amazing food and much more. There is a lot to do here, so you can just come and relax the whole day near the beach.
