The Rocky Mountaineer travels through 4 major routes-
First Passage to the West
Earlier known as the Kicking Horse Route, the first route of Rocky Mountaineer- First Passage to the West is the most historically significant and most ecstatic route. This is the only passenger train that travels over the historic and famous line.
On the route, you will pass the splendid Castle Mountain, the beautiful station at Lake Louise, the continental divide, the royal Stoney Creek Bridge, the site of 1885 Last Spike and the beauteous Thompson and Fraser river canyons.
Duration: 2 days with one night hotel stop.
Destinations covered: Vancouver-Kamloops-Lake Louise-Banff, Banff-Lake Louise-Kamloops-Vancouver.
Boarding Point: Vancouver Rocky Mountaineer Terminal.
Departure: Twice a week at 7:30 a.m. from late April to early October.
Price: The facilities and fares of the train vary according to the service levels provided by the train, which are basically- Gold Leaf and Silver Leaf.
