How to reach:
By Air: Tenerife has two major International Airports, which are- Tenerife North Airport (TFN), also called Los Rodeos Airport and Tenerife South Airport (TFS), also known as Reina Sofia Airport.
TFN connects all the 7 Canary Islands with Europe, Iberian Peninsula and North America. The TFS connects Canary Islands with Moscow, Dublin, Berlin, Paris, London, Vienna and many other places.
From any of the airports, you can take a taxi, minivan, minibus, microbus, bus or rental car to go to the stargazing point.
By Train: You can reach Tenerife by Volcan Tanababa Train or by GTS fast train from Paris. From the train station, go to the stargazing point by a taxi, bus or rental car.
By Boat: You can reach Tenerife by ferries from Southern Spain in Cadiz.
Best time to visit: Just before new moon, when the sky is darkest.
Essential Gear: Mainly telescope. Professional teachers are also available, who will help you to view the stars from the best spots.
