Climate: Tropical monsoon climate, remaining warm throughout the year. December-March are dry months and pleasant. Requiring light clothes, these are the best time to visit. April to November are wet months requiring rain gear.

By Air: Phuket International Airport is well connected to major cities of Thailand and International countries.
By Train: No direct trains to Phuket available. Although one can take train from Bangkok going to Singapore and get down at Phun Phin railway station. Located in the Surat Thani province Phun Phin is connected by road to Phuket which can be reached in 5 hours by bus.
By Bus: Phuket is well connected to other cities of Thailand via efficient Bus service.
By Ferry: Phuket is also connected to other destinations in Thailand by Ferry services.

Also known as Honeymoon Island, this peaceful beach is famous for its calmness and tranquility. Its white sand beaches, lovely coral reef, and clear water make you fall in love with this island. You can have a private time or you can opt for some marine adventures like snorkeling with the fish. This beautiful island was earlier in private use but is now open for tourism during the day. It is around 40 minutes ride using speed boat and some exclusive tour companies overlook the operations. Phuket aquarium is home to fresh water fish and many other aquatic animals. Established in 1983, the aquarium aims to promote awareness about the environment and is part of the Phuket Marine Biological Center that is involved in research and monitoring of marine and coastal resources. It is a great place to enjoy and absorb information. There are numerous options to enjoy like the streams, reefs, mangroves and the deep sea. You could try your hand at feeding the fish by going into the aquarium and touch the turtles, rays, sea horses and other cute animals. The kids will surely love it and for the adults it could be a nice option to spend time in case of rain and hot sun.

In the Snake farm at Phuket, you can see snakes and cobras that are very big in size. There are various species of snakes and you can even get a chance to get a close look at the teeth of a cobra. You can watch the King Cobra Show at the Phuket shooting grounds and learn how to react when you come across a snake. You could take a picture with a snake too!
